Seeking Bids from Qualified Earthwork Contractors for Dam Removal & Stream Channel Construction in Springfield
The Mount Ascutney Regional Commission (MARC) seeks bids from qualified earthwork contractors for the removal of a concrete dam and accumulated sediment and construction of a new stream channel. The project site is located immediately downstream of the intersection of Valley Street and Litchfield Street in Springfield, Vermont.
Primary work components include demolition and removal of the existing concrete spillway and walls, excavation and hauling of accumulated sediment, furnishing gravel and stone for new stream channel, construction of stream channel, seeding and mulching.

DEADLINE PASSED: West Windsor - Seeking Consultant Services for the Development of a Comprehensive Improvement Plan
The consultant working on this project with the Town of West Windsor will engage stakeholders in a comprehensive planning process that will guide local policy decisions and capital investment. The planning process will focus on improving multi-modal connectivity both within the village of Brownsville, and between the village and the adjacent residential, commercial, and recreational areas on Mt. Ascutney. The improvement plan is expected to address wayfinding, traffic calming , the provision of amenities like benches & bike racks, an analysis of parking needs, options for the redevelopment of the fire station site, and any other improvements needed to support economic and community development within the village and between the village and the mountain, as envisioned in the West Windsor Town Plan.
